Duties and Responsibilities

• Blueprint Reading: Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to determine exact fabrication requirements.
• Material Preparation: Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal sheets, tubes, plates, and steel sections.
• Welding Operations: Select and operate welding equipment, focusing heavily on MIG welding for fabrication.
• Equipment Utilization: Fabricate structures using cutting, drilling, grinding, sawing, and shearing machinery.
• Structural Assembly: Assemble fabricated parts using bolts, rivets, clips, or fasteners to ensure perfect fitments.
• Framing Execution: Apply fabrication skills directly to the framing and assembly of buildings, modular homes, or sheds.
• Quality Assurance: Perform strict quality checks to ensure all components meet safety regulations and design tolerances.
• Maintenance: Clean, maintain, and perform minor repairs on fabrication equipment to keep tools in top working condition.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Coordinator and Supervisor to develop fabrication solutions that meet client needs.

1. Safely operate F250 truck and pulling various types of trailers, such as a 30' Gooseneck, 24',16' trailers depending on the job.

3. Assure the vehicle is properly maintained and performs routine checks on vehicle functionality and safety equipment, reporting any mechanical issues to the appropriate department.
4. Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and overall functionality.
5. Follow relevant safety regulations and protocols, including wearing seatbelts, maintaining appropriate speed, and securing cargo as necessary.
6. Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring their safe and intact transport.

8. Adhere to set schedules, adjusting for changes in traffic, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
